We publish confirmed readings only. If a mission read fails, we drop it from the table rather than show it blank, because "no reading" and "no appointments" are very different claims.

Schengen rules require you to apply to the country where you will spend the most nights, or your first point of entry if the nights are split evenly. Applying somewhere purely because the queue is shorter creates a contradiction between your appointment and your itinerary, and consulates look for exactly that.

VFS Global runs centres in Cairo and Alexandria, but not every mission accepts applications at both. Some countries currently take appointments in Alexandria only, which means a Cairo-based applicant has to travel for the biometrics appointment. The table above flags this as "travel from Cairo".
